This class is designed to introduce the oriental dance dynamics and technique to teachers and dancers; and to assist those who have met the many variations of the oriental dance, to clearer understanding of the individual freedom possible within a dance technique. Dr. Geddawi will demonstrate and break down the basic movements and steps used in the oriental dance and explain the feet work, breathing technique, energy distribution as well as the manipulation of steps and movements in the oriental dance.
